How much does it cost for an evaluation?

At Sahara Coins we always offer FREE verbal evaluations on all of your items. All you have to do is bring it down to the store and take a seat in one of our private booths and we will work to get you an accurate evaluation.
We do also offer written appraisals for insurance or estate purposes, we work with multiple different law offices around town to help provide accurate appraisals of their clients good on company letterhead that is signed off by one of our certified Numismatists. Written appraisals are at a cost of $85 an hour with a min of one hour.

Do you do consignment or auction for me?
We purchase a wide array of items. You can bring us bullion, numismatic coins & currency as well as collectible items like stamps, sports cards, casino memorabilia, scrap jewelry and much more. If you have items that may have value you can always give us a call and we would be happy to help you out.
How long until I am paid for my items?

At Sahara Coins we pay you for your items before you leave our store. The majority of the time spent in store is going to be spent with us evaluating your items. Once a deal is agreed upon you will be paid out and provided with a full receipt for the transaction.

Do you pay cash or check?
As far as value is concerned, No, there is no limit to what you can bring in to us. We are a buyer of all collections and will always do our best to help process your collection and provide you with the absolute best offer you will find.
The form of payment is highly dependent on a couple of variables. If we have the cash on hand to pay cash based on business in and business out we will pay cash. If not we will pay by check and you can take it directly to our bank where they will cash it for you based on our prior approval. Either way there is no guarantee of cash vs. check since we do not know what each day holds as business is concerned.
No. We do not do consignment or auction for customers. We do purchase outright the day you come in based on current market conditions etc.
