About Sahara Coins & Precious Metals
Our Approach: Education Before Pressure
Selling coins, bullion, jewelry or an inherited collection can feel overwhelming—especially when you do not know what the items are worth or which pieces may be important.
Our team works to make the process understandable. When evaluating items, we explain the characteristics we examine and the market factors that influence our offer. We want customers to understand the difference between precious-metal value, collectible value, wholesale market activity and retail asking prices.
At Sahara Coins, you are never required to sell simply because we evaluated your items. Free verbal evaluations are available in the store, and written appraisals are available for qualifying insurance and estate needs at an hourly rate.

Sahara Coins buys and sells a broad range of precious metals, coins, currency and collectibles. Our established industry relationships help us maintain access to bullion products and connect collectors with specialized material.

Professional Evaluations and Private Service
Free verbal evaluations are available during regular business hours. Customers can bring their items to one of our private evaluation areas, where our team will examine them and explain the relevant characteristics.
For large estates, extensive collections or specialized holdings, we recommend calling ahead so we can prepare for your visit and give the material the appropriate time and attention.
Please do not clean coins or collectible currency before bringing them to the store. Cleaning can permanently alter original surfaces and may reduce collectible value. Preserve any original packaging, grading labels, certificates, receipts, inventories or family records associated with the collection.
